Education.

Unilateral Thinking has developed specific training packages for education establishments focusing on how abuse of all forms can manifest itself and how education establishments can help identify, deliver support and report information. The training is targeted at different age groups depending on where young people sit within the education system for example university students will have a different experience to those children at nursery.

Training is separated for students and professionals.

For students at nurseries and school the sessions are focused for example on identifying what abuse is, how to remain safe and identifying appropriate adults to speak to.

For students at academies and universities the sessions are focussed for example on internet safety, campus safety, grooming and abuse within relationships.

For students at universities studying social care courses, Unilateral Thinking has prepared an outstanding package of training to assist trainee and new social workers in preparing for life as qualified social workers.

For professionals Unilateral Thinking is particularly interested in raising the awareness of what as professionals needs to happen when they suspect or have been informed about incidents of abuse. Unilateral Thinking can overview your current procedures and recording processes or develop new procedures and update professional’s knowledge of recent research. We have a varied team which can customise your learning so that your organisation experiences the best training in helping to protect the most vulnerable.
