Leisure.

Many people associate bars, nightclubs and shopping malls as places to meet friends and have fun, but what is happening behind the scenes? Can you spot a child that is being watched; distinguish between a young person being bought a present or being groomed? It is very difficult, whilst Unilateral Thinking cannot give the correct answers to all scenarios, we can help employees in this industry identify to ‘gut feeling’, ‘repetition of actions’ and help you to respond to ‘what you are seeing and feeling’. For the leisure industry we have created an initiative call ‘AYO’ and each service will be trained in this principle.

Unilateral Thinking has created a package of support for independent hotels and hotel chains based within the UK and internationally which clearly identifies what role each department has in combating abuse particularly CSE and trafficking. In conjunction with local area support the message we want to portray is ‘the action of one, protects others’.

We are keen to work with and train employees of Bars, Party Venues and Restaurants in identifying the traits of perpetrators and recognising the signs of vulnerable people and how to respond without creating further harm.

For other aspects of the leisure industry for example swimming pools and gyms we aim to provide the packages of support that we offer and in conjunction with this review and revise any policy and procedures already in place.

Please get in touch to register your interest and one of our representatives will contact you to discuss the design of your package that best meets the needs of your organisation.
